The RoboJackets training program is designed to give new members a practical overview of each of our disciplines. Over the course of a semester, members will learn skills and concepts fundamental to the work we do on our competition teams. With a track for each discipline, students have an option to build on what they’ve learned in high school or explore something new!
The electrical track introduces and teaches students to a wide variety of electrical engineering concepts and features a strong focus on demos with relevant hands on experience with microcontrollers and components.
The software track introduces and teaches students fundamental software engineering concepts, including practical use of C++ and version control.
The mechanical track introduces and teaches the fundamentals of mechanical design through use of computer assisted design software and practical physical examples.
